BlueScope on board for AusBuildLCA

BlueScope has been announced as a Bronze Sponsor for AusBuildLCA.

The company recently released a set of environmental product declarations, or EPDs, for BlueScope’s Australian products under the new Australasian EPD Programme.

Nicole Sullivan, BlueScope’s Technical Manager Sustainability, led this development and will be sharing her experiences at both AusBuildLCA and LCM Australia 2015.

“Building product EPDs move the LCA beyond the ‘typical’ impacts and bring us closer to reality,” she says.

“The LCA industry continues to have a great story to tell about LCA’s credibility, rigour and benefits to society. But often the message has become lost in translation. How do we overcome this barrier to communication?”
